With dependency on imported petroleum glowing in recent years,
it¡¯s a strategy for China to develop alternative energies of petroleum
as well as clean energies. As an alternative energy, DME has drawn
wide attention of various countries. Taking advantages of China¡¯s
rich coal and natural gas resources, we¡¯d better produce DME through
self-development and introduction of foreign advanced techniques,
and establish clean energy bases to reduce pollution to the environment,
as a new approach to resolve China¡¯s environmental issues.
